I was floored when Someone said to me the other day,
I don’t care about my credit, it’s really not that important to me.
Let me tell you something, your personal credit is a reflection of your personal financial reputation.
This is tremendously important for you to KNOW, because when you are out there in the real world trying to ‘make it’, your financial reputation is all you got, and if you care to do business in the real world and if you cannot prove that your financial reputation is bankable, you may have big trouble trying to get access to the good things that life has to offer.
You see, when it comes to ‘doing business’ out in the real world, employers and businesses want the assurance that you are the type of person that can be trusted, and if your financial reputation is damaged, very few people may be willing to help you to get the things that you want… and need.
Such things as a high paying job or a high paying career, an apartment on the good side of town, a prime mortgage, a low interest auto loan, or low insurance rates for you home or your vehicle.
Did you know that your bad credit may prevent you from qualifying for certain licenses in certain states, such as a real estate license or an insurance license?
In most instances you may not qualify to receive a security clearance for many high paying careers.
Maybe you never dreamed of owning your own business as a young person, but, things do change.
If later in life you perfect your skills, craft, or profession and you decide to open up your own business, you may not qualify for the business loan, or for the business lease, that you may need in order to start your own business, if you have bad credit.
It is so heartbreaking for me to have met so many Good People, who absolutely qualify to do the job, but because of the bad financial decisions that were made in their past, the opportunity to advance in their career, or to start their own business, is blocked because of their bad credit, and the opportunity to improve the quality of their life, for themselves and their family, is stuck in the mud.
By the way, if your financial reputation is damaged, and you do happen to find someone who is willing to extend you the credit that you need to pursue your dream, I can tell you right now, without good credit, your cost is going to be massive.
The subprime interest rates that you will have to pay because of your bad credit, on what are known as ‘second chance loans’, will eat your profits and may even stunt your personal, professional, and business growth.
Opportunity can strike any person at anytime, and if that person is not prepared with good credit, that person may miss out on a life changing opportunity.
Many profitable opportunities often present themselves when you least expect them, so it is imperative that you are able and ready to seize the moment with your good credit.
The bottom line is this… your good credit can make it so much easier for you to take advantage of the many profitable opportunities that are available out in the real world.
Your good credit tells people that are in a position to unlock the doors of opportunity for you, that YOU are a person with integrity, a person that keeps their word, a person that can be financially trusted, and THAT kind of credit (financial reputation) is priceless.
